Guys I really hope our power doesn't go out...Our power went out in 2002 from an ice storm like this, and it took a month for us to get our power back on. Meanwhile, old people in the area died, because they froze to death. Sometimes I hate being in N.C.

Good luck MS!! I am up in NY and expecting between 12-18 inches of snow! Half the country is getting hit by this same storm!!

I know my sister has to have oxygen. She has stage four cancer. I'm hoping our power doesn't go out.

Well............. it's January. In New York. Is this really that
unusual of an event? I mean... yeah. Winter. OK.

Does she/you have a generator? If not.... why not?

Yeah, we were talking about the "emergency" in the USA, not in
Kazakhstan, which is basically southern Siberia. I suspect that is near normal temperatures there in Kazakhstan this time of year.

Even here in the USA, I have been in lower temperatures than that, and although it can be dangerous, if you have any sense at all, it isn't.

Nothing new about any of that, as I already said.

Those Lat and Lon figures give you Kazakhstan? That's wrong.

Okay, did it again and this time get midway-ish between Toronto and
Ottawa. I grew up not far from there, actually (in the USA).

My same statements that are now snipped out still apply. Cold, but not unheard of. Carry on.

I looked at my car's nav system and realized that it gave me lat/long
coordinates. I can finally update the icbmto: url in my email
    signature.
