    That's gonna be tougher going further. With the increase of AI production an the closure of Crucial, prices and availability of chips are will be going in opposite directions and not in a good way.

    Based on what I consider hearsay, it sounds like at least one of the AI bigshots has pre-ordered a bunch of memory which binds the supply chain
    even more.

    That's standard practice for any business when needing to keep an inventory o parts.

    I don't think it is SOP to pre-order a supplier's entire capacity for a
    set period.
