Just saw that the other day a Tennessee man who had a feud with his neighbor who was an animal activist get arrested and thrown in jail due
to him firing a gun on his 40 acre property which echoed as he was
doing target practice with his 12-year old son so yes there is a lot of malfeasance in law enforcement

I wonder if their 40 acre property is in a city limits somehow. Otherwise, that surprises me some about Tennessee. I have gone shooting on large,
private properties "out in the country" here in Kentucky and Ohio and not
run into issues.

Your next lesson is called "trimming". You see all the stuff above
between the word "derp" and the start of your response? You should edit
that out (delete it) as part of writing a response to somebody, because
that serves no purpose in the conversation and can be difficult to read.

Make your response look "nice". Clean up the excess, but it's also
IMPORTANT to leave in some of the previous conversation (called
"context"), so others can follow along with what is being talked about.

Wow, that's a name from the past! Of all of the old legacy apps to
continue using, WHY THAT ONE? All of my Mac users breathed a collective
sigh of relief when Microsoft rolled out Outlook for Mac.

Or, maybe that was my team supporting it that I heard. :)

Well I have a copy of outlook 2011 along with office 2011 but to my surprise
it doesn't have Usenet support... Plus a Core 2 Duo is too slow for most web based tasks (i.e I have a early 2009 iMac running Leopard 10.5.8) so I kind
of have it set up as a time capsule from 2009 most of what I do on the web needs a 3rd gen dual core or 2nd gen quad core processor or later to do well and I have a XPS 8700 running Windows 8.1 (doesn't have a SSD otherwise I
would be running 10 if it wasn't for the horrible boot up times and the
frozen desktop when booted up) with a i7-4790 and a GTX 1060 with 16GB of
DDR3 memory and a ThinkPad T470 and a 2014 Mac mini (which I use for downgrading iOS devices)

Thunderbird actually pulled up some old emails from Thunderbird that I could not pull
up in gmail.
So yeah I like thunderbird.

Some time ago, developers at Qualcomm took the Thunderbird engine and
skinned it to look like Eudora. Interesting idea, but I don't think it
took off.

Thunderbird Portable has been my go-to on the BBS for years. I can run
it from my documents folder and know I get all of the mail when I do a
backup. I'm not a fan of email software that stores mail in your
appdata folders.
